I am sitting here this morning, sipping on my morning Latte, a little bit sleepy headed from a late night out in Melbourne.
This morning, I am reminded of the magic of Melbourne again. It lost its spark when the pandemic hit and has been slowly creeping back to life ever since.
I drove past my old studio this morning in Collingwood, where I used to practise with men as a Dakini.
My heart, my belly and my sex pulsing alive today, as I pondered the art of being a well loved woman.
I was taken out to dinner last night on a first date, to a nice Japanese restaurant. I am always pleasantly surprised at my capacity to find beautiful men through the ethers of social media. I have an antennae that is able to radically detect those that are genuine, heart felt men, from those that are not. I have only had really positive experiences dating through the apps — not many experiences (only four to date over the past three years), but all have amounted in either a lovership, a relationship, or a friendship.
I don’t believe that dating apps are only full of men looking to extract from women. Most of the time I am swiping left — just from a single glance, I can tell if I have a connection with someone. This is the power of being anchored and resourced in your feminine body — your home — your heart and eros. You just… know.
So, last night, I had an incredible set menu, followed by a sweet walk, with hand holding and a cheeky makeout session in the middle of the streets of Melbourne.
I was reminded that I need more of this.
When I feel well loved, my whole being emanates in a way that I know can change worlds and realities in a single moment. Life has more colour — it glows differently. Everything moves and feels in flow again (everything that seemed to be wrong, magically dissolves in weight and somehow feels like it no longer has a grip on me).
So this is your reminder: do something today that brings you back into your feminine body. Maybe it’s not a date night. Maybe it’s simply buying flowers for yourself, or doing something that inspires beauty.
You are worth it.
With Love,
SB. X
