I was out power walking this morning, trying to move the tension and frustrations that were arising in my body, at the wall (apparent dead end) that I have been consistently hitting lately.
When I am contracted, stressed and unable to breathe my way through my circumstances or use simple magic to clear the path, I move.
I dance, I walk, run, I power lift.
I groan in the shower.
I sing.
I work with the tension.
This morning, as I was walking, I started to reflect on how a part of my super power, is in the rebirth and ressurection I find when I hit rock bottom.
The words “Crisis Magic” came through for me.
You see, in Human Design, I have the Gate of Crisis (gate 36).
This is a solar plexus gate, often associated with / drawn to emotional chaos and turmoil due to its inherent propensity towards crisis.
I have always attracted and thrived in Chaos and Crisis.
I find Magic in Crisis.
In competition to what most people will say, about creativity not being available to you when you are in scarcity, I must say, I disagree. But then again, I have a defined Root Centre in human design also, so I do well under pressure and tend to be able to drive action between when I feel some kind of survival instinct kick in, from deep inside of me.
My greatest rebirths into my power, have dawned within me when I have hit rock bottom.
When I have had the illusion of “choice” taken away from me.
When I become so confined and trapped and contracted, that I have to wrangle my way out of my struggles and say “I’ve had enough”.
If you look at the process of Alchemy, the first stage of the Magnum Opus is Nigredo, the blackening stage. It is the process of breakdown, chaos, and confronting the self’s darkness. In practical alchemy, with the making of Spagyrics, the first stage of alchemy is calcination, which similarly, is the the process of heating a solid substance to a high temperature in a controlled environment to remove volatile substances, cause thermal decomposition. It is the reduction of a substance to ashes.
When you are truly dedicated to the feminine, earthly process of creativity, you are wholeheartedly committing yourself to the process of burning yourself and reducing yourself to ashes, so that rebirth can take place in its full totality.
You cannot become new, if you do not allow yourself to burn, from time to time.
True witches learn to put themselves on the stakes.
This is the art of Crisis Magic.
It is the process of true power reclamation.
