We don't give enough credit to the mystics.
We need a new currency system - one that rewards those that dedicate their lives to the current of life.
I was walking through the streets of Williamsburg in New York, on my way to a cafe for breakfast yesterday. Tears flowing, heart cracked open, feeling the beauty of life as I listened to music and danced through the streets.
And then, it hit me.
I had the thought and heard the words: “We don’t value the hidden work of the Mystics- where is the acknowledgement of the lifes work and dedication of those that are here to dance with the lands and support evolutionary change, in the silence of the heart?”
Whenever I visit a place, I feel a lot of my work is in simply being with the soul and transmission of the lands that I am on - on communicating with them, dancing with them, getting to know them.
Wherever I go, I do ritual, I ask the land what it is that I am here for.
As I landed in New York, I could feel an immense amount of love pulsing through my being.
According to Alice Baileys work and in particular, in her book Destiny of Nations, she classifies New York as one of the five strongest energy points (cities) on the planet. A Ray Two Soul, Ray Three personality; Astrological Ruler Cancer.
I could feel the Ray Two pulse as soon as I landed.
The devotional current of Love that runs through New York is palpable.
Whilst many will get caught up in the crazy hustle of New York, those that dare to sink a little deeper will feel her evolutionary magic - her ability to connect you back into the lifeblood of your heart and your eros. The pull to surrendering to the unknown, to listen moment by moment to where the pulse of Magic wants to lead you.
The Restaurants, packed full of people, pushing you to overcome your supposed and imaginary barriers to connection that your mind creates.
I went to a small Kava bar yesterday, which you had to squeeze into, to get a seat.
Initially, it made me anxious, feeling how close I was to so many people.
Space is a love language of mine.
When I let myself breathe the anxiety through my body though, and I embraced the chaos of the space, I started to become flooded with energy and vitality. Laughter. Joy. My resistance to letting people into my space (and my fear around having my space taken from me) eased a little, my body softened (also thanks to the Kava) and I was able to embrace my edge.
So far, New York has been a love affair.
I was gifted a Hotel stay at a cozy, but luxurious hotel in Lower East Side. I was inducted into New York with the gift of an Assembly Label New York Tee. Kava. Good Italian for Dinner. Space to get lost in the streets, to just witness the people and the culture around me.
New York is built upon a bed of Clear Quartz Crystal.
It is purifying. Crown Opening. Ecstatic.
Despite the layers of buildings, street trash, rats and chaos, I can feel myself making love with the crystal grid beneath the surface here.
My creativity is flowing.
I had the thought “Mystics do not get paid for the contribution that they make to the world, in terms of what they hold inside of them”
Because sometimes, contribution cannot be measured through Currency.
Sometimes, our contribution to the world is silent - it is the deep circulation of our Eros and Heart with the Earth beneath us. Our currency is our current - it is the love that we hold within us. But society does not reward the silent - those that are doing the deeper mystical “work” for themselves, their communities and the planet.
Well, it doesn’t reward us through the current economic system and currency. But if you could fulfilment as currency, then we - The Mystics - are the ones that are in overflow.
Warm love,
Sigourney X
